For the Lamb is a Christ-centered nonprofit 501(c)3
that was founded by Jesse and Jessica Phillips. We are currently working in Bomi county of Liberia, Africa to provide the people with the skills and tools to sustain themselves. This means parents will be able to provide for their families with basic needs like (food, water, shelter, schooling) without the assistance of foreign or government aid.
To connect global partners with the under resourced
communities of the world to launch self sustainability
projects and break the cycle of poverty by empowering
and training local people.
To be advocates for self sustainability and empowerment for the families and the communities throughout Liberia. To help teach sustainability through agriculture as well as teaching about the grace, love, and forgiveness offered by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We embrace the heart of the great commission in Matthew 28:19-20, to raise a new generation in Christ to bring hope for generations to come!
We are seeking to empower the lives of its people by introducing different forms of agriculture for self sustainability, low cost construction for homes, schools, and churches, clean energy, encouraging entrepreneurship, etc. We are continually searching out new initiatives to uplift and empower the people. We want to break the cycle of poverty in the world by Reaching the under-resourced communities with the gospel, Training them how to use what God has given them to prosper, and Planting a seed of hope that will grow in the generations to come .
God instilled a vision in the the hearts of a small group of Liberian Jesus followers long before Jesse and Jessica were in the picture. In the middle of a harsh civil war, God spoke to a man named David and he responded with “Here I am, send me.” Several years later, God orchestrated a plan to bring the Phillips’ and David together. Through their time serving together, God asked them to partner together and we are now seeing the beginnings of Gods promises come to fruition. ‘For the Lamb’ plans to partner with communities and organizations like CAFMACP (christian alliance for missions and church planting), led by pastor David, to provide our knowledge in agriculture, construction, and clean energy. We are so excited to be walking alongside our Liberian brothers and sisters to share Jesus with the people and declare the gospel throughout every corner of the country and the world.
